Beginning of a Peony

Posted by
Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 29 April 2021 in Plant & Nature.

I was surprised and delighted to see this wild beginning of a Peony.
I was gone for a week to California to help my son settle into his new rental. Lovely to be able to visit him after 15 months.

You've given this the feel of an inhabitant of a coral reef, swirled by ocean currents!

It's interesting to see the beginning of the flower. How fun to visit your son in CA after so long.
