Fire Pumps

Posted by
Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 19 September 2020 in Miscellaneous.

I wondered if these were pumps that sprayed fire or pumps that sprayed water on fires.
When I visited the Philadelphia Navy Yard it took me a while to find my focus. I decided to look for shapes and patterns. The rectangles I saw turned out to be interesting doors and windows. None of them pretty, but interesting in a grungy, industrial way. I added to that grungy look in post processing.

The splashes of sunlight evoke spraying water -- or perhaps sparks from a spraying fairy fire
