Fitting new shoe

Making sure new shoe fits properly.
The gold area on the front of the shoe is a mixture of metal and grit added to the shoe to add traction as these horses pull buggies on paved roads.

@Shaun: Thanks! The light was very poor and I had to use high ISO, so I'm delighted that the photos actually came out!

Those hands look as experienced as the process . . I find the art dates back to the 6th century. Nicely presented.
