Taken at Merryspring Nature Center, Maine, USA. Conditions: Sunny with a breeze. My husband held a diffuser over the flower to soften the light. I used a plamp to hold the flower steady.
Texture: "Green Dream" .

Simple, delicate, amazing. I like how the fragile petals seem to support that great center weight - with its complex, compact group of tiny lines. I can feel the breeze - there is a sense of motion, even though there is no blur and you have captured the flower in perfect focus.
