Hmmm - I really like the first one - the crop really emphasizes the subject - the blue buds. But I do like the curve of the top leaf in this version but my eye wants to explore it and I am pulled away from the buds. If forced to choose, I think I would pick the cropped image.

I'm going to differ with Brenda. I like the the hint of blue in the top leaf that complements the blue buds. We now have the magical odd number of leaf tips, the buds themselves and the fifth element, the incomplete leaf on the right. The image is wonderful either way, but this is my favorite of the two. ;D

Both are very beautiful ... I do prefer this one ... I love the curve of the leaf and the darker colored edges of the leaves add dimension to the image ... Love it, Anita :)
