I agree with Arnd. The rich red window is striking in this composition. The red highlights in the stone provides a unity that pleases.

What a lovely contrast between that bright red window and its surrounding stone wall, in all its randomness. I love the bright yellow-green captured in that single pane of glass.

This color and placement of the window in your composition really draws the eye. The stone work is very attractive. I suppose that the window was not painted red originally?

@Julie L. Brown: Thanks, Julie. I don't know what color the window was originally painted. It is now painted a barn red. I brightened it up for this image, taking artistic license. :-)
