Miss Oxford Diner

Posted by
Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 27 September 2012 in Miscellaneous.

Challenged by both my Camera Club's theme--nigh photography--and Brenda's Third Thursday Challenge to try something new, I took a night photo of a local diner. I've done very little night photography and had to look up the camera settings before venturing out. I didn't include the whole diner because I didn't like the photos that included the cars parked in front.

Super result, not sure if the colour temperature is perfect but what does it matter when the hot pink is the theme? Love motion in the flag and flag pole.

Love your idea to try something new in photography once in a while. Low-light photography certainly is a challenge – your first attempt is already a success.

Love the neon colors, the starburst lightsource and the blurred flapping flag.

You made a great choice. Night photography is hard but you did a great jot.

Good for you! It's always a challenge to try new things. I admire your following through -- there's a few things I keep wanting to try, but just never seem to get them done...
