Beautiful Dahlia photo. My favorite flower - I have over 40 different variety's in my yard. Guess what Sept pictures will include.

@Bruce: Thanks!. 40 different varieties! Wonderful!! Do you have to dig them up and store them in winter? That is what we must do here.
I like today's version a little better but both are super nice and very appealing. Nature [and photography] at its best!

Love them both but if forced to choose, I think I would pick the first one - only because I love the intense glow and saturated colors.

If I could imagine coming on these images in completely different settings, I'd prefer the 2nd -- the delicacy of the interrelationship of the parts is charming. But, when I toggled back and forth, I found myself drawn to the 1st. Says more about my susceptibility toward the bright and flashy (the rich saturation) than the intrinsic worth of the art.

Slightly softer in this warmer version. Love them both but am drawn to this one. Lovely framing!
