Linton Stevens Covered Bridge

Posted by
Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 17 April 2012 in Landscape & Rural.

My camera club did an outing to covered bridges on Saturday. This one is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, USA.
My posting has slowed down due to a busy (and happy) spring!

Anita - missed your images! The colors in this are really quite fabulous - and that golden light! Love the perspective of looking through the bridge to the path beyond. An open invitation to come along and see what lies ahead.

Beautiful work with wood and beautiful colours + light. Great photo, Anita. We don't have these covered bridges in Czech Republic so it's always nice to see them on photos.

How I envy you these covered bridges . . the structures are so expressive of purpose.

This is a beautiful composition. There is so much to look at in the foreground, and yet the eye is drawn into the frame by the curve of the road.

I love how the sunlight makes so many nice things happen here. The bridge design is striking too. Having covered bridges as an assignment is a delight, they have so much character. A beautiful presentation, I enjoyed!

Nice job of bringing out all of the details. HDR?

And...here's to that busy and HAPPY spring! Gotta love it!

@Sue: Not an HDR. But I did combine two photos, one exposed for the interior and one exposed for the exterior.
