Himalayan Blue Poppy 2

I like the bit of reddish-purple in this one, but apparently the flower experts consider it a negative.
(The arrow to move to previous or future images is now hidden in the upper corners of the image--just hold your mouse over those areas and it will appear. I upgraded to A+, so now my images are larger and the format is a bit different.)

Anita - what a lovely story of contrast - the cool violet-blue against the energetic lime green plus the sparks of fuschia - each causing the other to pop off the screen. The orange center reminds me of fireworks, drifting down. Color saturation at its best.

Oh, ANita, this is awesome. I love how the orange stamens (?) reach forward as if to eagerly greet the view. And the colors are so cheerful together, they really work well together.
