Black Eyed Susan

Posted by
Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 14 January 2012 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I found this image as I was going through my images of 2011. I had never finished nor posted it. It seems out of place in the middle of winter, but, I like it a lot and want to share it with you.

Hot, hot, hot! Black-eyes susan in a ahot summer day, that's what comes to my mind immediately. All the warmth is warmly welcome in the winter. Great composition and the "colour bokeh" works very well here.

this one is beautiful.... is this flower real or a painting...

17 Jan 2012 6:22pm

@Lokesh: Hi, Lokesh. I'm glad you like it. It is a real flower from my garden. It is the post processing and the application of a texture that makes it look like a painting! :-)
