@Ana Lúcia: Thank you. It is a bit dark, isn't it!

Marcie from Newton, United States

Love how you framed the house with the tree. Such a perfectly simple way of life!

Wow, an exquisite shot. That line of fence is eye-catching, as is the plain and simple meeting house and its landscaping bare except for the grand old trees. What a beautiful part of the country you live in. :-)

@DULCIE: Thank you, Dulcie. It is nice to see it through the eyes of a Westerner!

RBL from Oxford, United States

Fantastic Anita! You've captured the essence of this area and landscape! Have a great day :)

@RBL: Thank you. Glad you think I captured the essence. :-) It is what one tries for, but is difficult to do.

Arnd from Basel, Switzerland

Love the composition and lighting! Although the tones are muted the tree in the foreground and the meetinghouse seem to glow from within. Very nice, Anita!

Again, the well-chosen textures add much to this and bring their own essential reality. If I drove by, I'd not recognize the place - unless my windows were textured, that is !

29 Nov 2011 7:58am

@Ronnie 2¢: Textured windows--what an idea! Thanks.

Chantal from Netherlands

how nice this looks with the texture over it

Very lovely, Anita! The composition and quality of light add so much to this, as well as the texturing you have done here so artistically.

You composed this well, with the fence running up a pattern on the left and then that massive, solid tree in the middle and it sending branches over the boxy church. I like how you have put this together.
