Rudbeckia Seadhead

Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 29 October 2011 in People & Portrait.

At least I think it is Rudbeckia. On recent walks at Goat Hill Serpentine Barrens , I was drawn to the shapes and structures of seedheads and grasses.

Beautiful sepia tones here, and I love the grainy texture that is so expressive with this particular plant.
(The shapes here remind me of a collection of cloves.) :-)

@DULCIE: Thank you. I agree about the cloves. :-)
