Emerging Daffodils

Posted by
Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 8 April 2011 in Plant & Nature.

Different types of Daffodils open at different times. While some of my Daffys are fully open, some are in bud and some haven't put up their buds yet.

I added textures by Kim Klassen and Shadowhouse Creations .

Very nice, Anita. I really like the earthy colour of the background and the promise of something beautiful. If I might pick a nit I would say that overal picture seems to be a bit spotted, like oversharpened. It is distracting little bit.

@Tomas Turecek: Thanks, Tomas. I think the spotting is from one of the textures. I can go back and lower the opacity. Appreciate your feedback.

The textures work very well here to soften the graphic lines and the color. Very lovely work!
