Big Leaf Hydrangea 2

Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 5 December 2010 in Plant & Nature.

I redid the image from several days ago, starting with a new RAW conversion, and using different post-processing techniques. Cropped some. I like this one better.

I like this one better too, Anita. Your crop helps to draw the eye more to the center of the flower, and the edge detail stands out nicely.

Yes, I like this better as well. It looks like a nice soft watercolor. I am amazed that you still have blooming hydrangea where you live! Mine in California are long gone.

@Barbara Lee: I'm glad you like it. This was blooming INDOORS in the conservatory at Longwood Gardens. Nothing is blooming outdoors--just blah grey.

Oh, I love the enlarged view!
