Daylily Macro

Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 31 July 2010 in Plant & Nature.

I took this several weeks ago. The Daylilies are past now. I used a 105mm macro lens with a Canon 5D close-up lens.

Nikon D300 1/15 second F/13.0 ISO 640 105 mm

Great framing and mix of colours. Raspberries and lemons, that's it. Daylilies are great subjects fr abstract photography. I also took couple of photos this year but haven't had time to process them yet. A real master of this kind of macro is Ramamohan Pai (http://www.pbase.com/rampai65).
