Hmm, now this is interesting! :) It is still a flower photo but it already started to melt into an abstract image. Beautiful colours, great composition and nice match of texture. Two thoughts from me - the texture is a bit too prominent in my opinion even though mainly on the white background, not on blossoms. Second thing is your choice of plane of focus. My eyes are automatically drawn to the centre of the nearest blossom but it's not sharp so they wander upon the image searching for something sharp. Have you tried to focus on the nearest blossom as well? It might be interesting to compare it with this photo - how they both work on viewers.

@Tomas Turecek: Tomas: You identified the weakness of this image: the lack of a sharp point of focus. Thanks. I've been trying to figure out what was wrong with it. I'll check to see if i took some with the center in sharp focus.
The texture effect makes the image beautiful

Great texture work, Anita, and the comp works well. Agree on the point of focus. Love the pinks with the touch of green.

Soft and very delicate particularly with your texture.

The pink lines help to give this perspective some depth. I didn't know chives were so pretty!

Wonderful! I have those in my garden but never would think of them as pretty as your image is showing! Amazing eye you have!
