Homage to Georgia O'Keeffe

Posted by
Anita (West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States) on 2 January 2010 in Plant & Nature.

Georgia O'Keeffe, one of my favorite artists, inspired me to use a texture by rubyblossom from Textures for Layers. I used Topaz Adjust Simplify filter two different times in different ways to get my original image to look the way I wanted.
Here is a link to the original photo.

You've done a masterful job of transforming this into its present state - a gorgeous image! Your technique works so very well... I trust you'll pursue this more in the future. This would look great printed and hung on your wall.

@don: Thanks, Don. I believe I will have it printed to hang on my wall.

With the irregular shape, and the stem off center - it's cool.
