Love how you're creating these almost monochromatic images. Excellent!

António Pires from Lisbon, Portugal

You did match the two yellows (flower and bg) perfectly. May be more difficult to achieve than with a dark, even black, background.

Don from spokane, United States

A beautiful close up with a fine amount of detail. The color of the flower and complementary background make the shot very effective. I like the tiny "hair" of the plant the most!

Sue from Paducah, United States

I like the tone on tone presentation with the background. It's fun to experiment with new software and filters. I haven't had much success with Topaz yet; so far I'm enjoying NIK more. While your Topaz treatment has indeed highlighted the details, I miss the gentle and delicate feel that often exemplifies your work.

I love the yellow on yellow! It is such a fresh, vibrant image! Well done!

Marilla from Turku, Finland

The flower is beautifully presented but I'd like to see it with another background. Somehow the pale yellow makes the flower paler, too. But these are matters of taste...

@Marilla: I always appreciate constructive feedback such as yours. Thanks.

Stunning! Those details are so great! Thanks for the explanation yesterday. Seems like you've got a great system going. Scrapbooking paper is a brilliant idea, since there's so many colors!! :)
