Don't you love it when beauty is found in the smallest details? When someone took the time to make even the most utilitarian piece beautiful, just because? Gorgeous greens, amazing details, lovely off-center composition.

That patina color works well and in such a comprehensive way in this . . another fine example of how photography makes us stop and look at stuff that others do not see.

Love the contrast of the aged wood with the detailed and intricate plate. And, I am enjoying seeing the way you are 'rising to the challenge' of photographing doors and all that goes with them. If there is a 'prize' from your photo club, I'm sure you are leading the race toward winning!
