@omid: Thank you! They sure are bright. @Brenda: hanks for you kind comment on my red door! Peter provided the door, my husband provided the support, and I provided the idea and the camera! @Sue-Ann: Thank you so much! This was a fun one to set up! @Frida: Thank you! @RBL: Thank you! Peter creates magical sculptures and sets them in this meadow. @thami: Thank you! Interestingly enough, the door belongs to a sculptor who creates large pieces that sit around in the meadow. @Vert Pomme: Thank you. These colors are the type that you like! @crazy Steve: Yes, you would definitely be in a magical world--on Deer Isle, Maine! Thanks for visiting and commenting. :-) @Ronnie 2¢: Thanks! Peter Beerits' funky sculptures provided the inspiration and the magic to hold up the door. I'll post further door-project photos. @Chantal: If you walk through the door, you are in a magical house. @Barbara Kile: Thanks, Barbara. It just worked out. The slide-show on your website is stunning!! @Ronnie 2¢: I'm delighted that you know Peter's sculptures. He is my husband's cousin and we visit every summer. To answer your question: No, this is not a Peter sculpture. It is a door he found and hasn't used yet. He allowed me to use it as i wished. I placed it in the meadow and had my husband hold it up. I was delighted to include the Lupine as we went to Maine in June specifically to photograph them. Yes, Peter does whole room sculptures. He also builds house-like structures and fills them with "people." This image has been featured in 1 Remix collection. |
