Snow Geese Landing

These are 10s of thousands of Snow Geese landing on Middle Creek Reservoir at sunset. I'm not a bird photographer, but wanted to give some idea of the scene to which we were treated.

wow . . that's an amazing number of birds . . and it sure looks chaotic but you don't see collisions so there must be some kinda 'air rules' that apply !

You succeeded! This is a very nice birdscape. The blue tones of the water and sky are complementary to the brown strip of woods in the midground, and the white birds have a nice backdrop.

Lovely! I like the blues at top and bottom, with the brown strip in the middle. You caught the flurry of flight here!
