Another Pink Dahlia

We haven't had a hard frost yet, so I still have Dahlias blooming. What joy!

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

I love the soft pastel treatment in this image. This is very well done.

Beautiful color, detail, positioning in the frame. I am assuming that most of your images these days are from "in studio", is that correct? You are doing wonderful work. You were doing terrific work a year ago and still have improved many times over.

It is SO beautiful.
The few Dahlias that the snails didn't eat are safe put away from the frost.
