Oak Leaves with Border

I got to playing around with creating borders and discovered this fun brush tool.
I photographed the leaves on white mat board in my "studio," added my own textures, then added the border.

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Before long you are going to be teaching Photoshop classes. I haven't experimented yet with the brushes tool. You may be providing me the inspiration needed to push me in that direction.

I like the border and I love the leaves however, I don't think I like this border on these leaves.

Excellent composition. All the colors (brown leaf, green leaf, background, border) complement each other perfectly. Nicely done.

Hi Anita. I like how the leaves are intertwined. But to be honest, I think this would look so much better with one of your beautiful textured backgrounds versus the border. Only my personal preference. I see your creativity never ends! :-)

Very nice combination. The use of the leaf brush around the outside edge is wonderful and complete the image for me. Nicely done, imagined, and captured.
