Complementary Colors 2

This image is part of my complementary colors exercise for my camera club. The purple BG was blotchy, so I used some PS filters--poster and texturizer. I wish the stems were longer.

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Love the intertwining stems and the contrasting colors of the flowers. Your background choice is a bold, graphic choice; an example of creative thinking. Let us know how the club challenge goes.....

I think this is so creative and wonderful. The photography is spot on but it's the artistic answer to the complementary colors challenge that takes my breath away.
