Complementary ColorsPosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 4 October 2009 in Plant & Nature. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

The composition is lovely and, of course, the contrast of colors is "eye candy!" 5 Oct 2009 11:57am Ed Vatza from Lehigh Valley, PA, United StatesAs I said over on BPN, this is an absolutely stunning image. The colors are wonderful. Did you try it as a vertical (portrait) image? I sometimes feel tall flowers look chopped off at the knee in a horizontal crop. 5 Oct 2009 9:20pm Dan Creighton from Pottstown, United StatesThe vibrance alone is eye grabbing and add in the sharp details and you have a winner. 8 Oct 2009 2:20am |
