Taken a couple of weeks ago at Longwood Gardens; outdoors, natural light, tripod, macro lens. In post processing, I played around with Topaz Adjust to bring out more detail. I have a trial version and this is the first time I've used it.

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

I like the detail, and especially like the sun colors both foreground and background. This is a rich image.

Very nice Anita. I like the bright colours and the framing by foreground and background flowers. I also like that image consists of only 2 colours.

I use Topaz software and like it a lot. I also want to come up to Longwood Gardens some day. I know several photogs who frequent the place. For me, it's worth the price of a season's pass to just come up and shoot for a few days! Lovely shot, Anita!

An excellent composition, Anita... Lovely bokeh... and the D300 is an excellent camera... my dream, a Sigma macro 150 mm f 2,8 four thirds... but very expensive...
