Abstract Daylily

Another forum challenged us to photograph an abstract over the 4th of July weekend. This was my submission. Taken in the evening, outdoors, natural light, 105mm macro, tripod. It was fun!

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

This one is wonderful - I want to run out and buy a close up lens...this photo and many of your others just inspire me so...I love the abstract nature of this photo as well as the colors!
