Garden ColumbinePosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 13 May 2009 in Plant & Nature. From my gardien. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Dulcie from Danville, United StatesSo fortunate to have that flower in your garden...Using a yellow background and letting the light show through the membrane of the leaves is stunniing. 13 May 2009 6:28am edvatza from Lehigh Valley, PA, United StatesYou have some beautiful flowers in your garden and are capturing them beautifully. You're really getting the hang of the new camera. Very nice detail and very nice depth. Well done, Anita. 13 May 2009 10:06am Sue from United StatesI don't think I've ever examined a Columbine in this manner -- getting up that close and from this perspective. This is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every manner. Congratulations. 13 May 2009 12:18pm Susan from Fort Lauderdale, FL, United StatesA wonderful macro shot of this gorgeous flower. The way the petals are transparent gives it such a look of delicacy!! And how lucky you are to have a garden where you see such beauty!!! 13 May 2009 3:05pm John Maslowski from Dallas, PA, United StatesYou must have quite the garden Anita, so beautiful and lovely. Stunning capture as always. 14 May 2009 1:59am Bill Jennings from (Bay Area Northern Calif), United StatesVery nice garden Anita.
