Cut-leaved ToothwortPosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 2 May 2009 in Plant & Nature. A spring flower taken several weeks ago. Not hapy with the vignetting I applied. A few words about the EXIF data. My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Dulcie Andres from Danville, CA, United StatesI admire this Toothwort and the fact that you have identified it by name. I like the phantom flower in the background. This image soothes me. 2 May 2009 5:20am GJC from Kyoto (京都), JapanA superb composition (but of course!) and the DOF as always is divine. 2 May 2009 11:12am "Marie" :-) from perth, HaitiGreat composition and beautiful flower, Thanks for sharing. 2 May 2009 12:01pm John Maslowski from Dallas, PA, United StatesStunning composition Anita, love the soft white and the contrasting green colors.
