Bloodroot 2Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 10 April 2009 in Plant & Nature. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Sarah from Suisse, SwitzerlandI like how you seem to have caught the vibrational energy of this flower! Beautiful! 10 Apr 2009 9:33am Paul Michko from Exton, PA, United StatesI like the dreamy look to this. Like it is springing out of a surreal dream. Marvelous work, Anita. 10 Apr 2009 9:43am edvatza from United StatesHi Anita. I really like the expose here. It creates a very nice (as others have said) dreamy feel to the image. I also like the marbled background. It works well with the leaves. I do wish (and it is a wish against nature) that the stem wasn't so long. It seems to push the flower so high in the frame and leaves so much space toward the bottom. But that's the nature of the beast! Nice job. 10 Apr 2009 10:36am Betty from New Jersey, United StatesAll I can say is beautiful... and that doesn't seem like enough. Excellent, Anita. 10 Apr 2009 12:32pm John Maslowski from Dallas, PA, United StatesLovely image Anita. Really like the directed light here.
