!!!THANK YOU ALL FOR VISITING!!!
I appreciate the visits and the comments. :-)

Taken several weeks ago at Longwood Garden's Conservatory. 100mm macro, tripod, natural light, cropped a bit.

Two of my photos, Chinese Hibiscus and Moon, Sycamore and Barn will be in another (!) show opening this Friday at Eagle Galleryin Lionville, PA. You are invited! See About, below, for more information.

*****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!*****

I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography.

If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know!

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

You are able to convey so much gentle sensuality with these macros . . when I try it, they look like botanic dissection guides !

Anita, I find myself "studying" your images for a lengthy period of time; attempting to soak in the image and appreciate all the image has to say. This particular image is another of those that I stood back away from the computer monitor to even appreciate more fully. It's from a distance that I can truly experience the subtle color, texture, and compositional design of this stunning image. Beautiful work...as usual.
