Dead MonitorPosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 8 December 2008 in Abstract & Conceptual. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Sue from United StatesHorrors! You and your beautiful images will be missed. I don't know about you, but I would go into "withdrawal" if I didn't have my computer............sigh. 8 Dec 2008 6:11pm Betty from New Jersey, United StatesOh no! I hope you won't 9 Dec 2008 3:54am GJC from Kyoto, JapanOh no! But what about your fans??! What are we supposed to do? Where can we send money for a contribution to the monitor? 9 Dec 2008 1:43pm @GJC: Thanks! But all I really want is for someone to tell me which monitor to buy! I'm finding the whole process a bit overwhelming. Up till now, I've used a hand-me-down CRT monitor. The world of LCDs is new and baffling. :-) John Maslowski from Dallas, PA, United StatesGood luck Anita. BTW I just bought a new laptop. Really prefer it over a desktop, even though I use both. Hope to see you back soon. 10 Dec 2008 3:47am Paul Michko from United StatesBeautiful handwriting, Anita. I love the b&w treatment. ;) 10 Dec 2008 11:15am Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesSorry to hear that! Good luck deciding on a new monitor. I like my ViewSonic LCD but if I needed new, I would get an Apple cinema display. 10 Dec 2008 12:38pm |
