Autumn Leaf

Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 10 November 2008 in Plant & Nature.

Laurie Jackson of Capture This Photography2 gave me a pleasant surprise by choosing my photo blog as one to receive the Kreativ Blogger Award. Thank you, Laurie!

The rules require me to list six things that make me happy, and to pass the award on to six bloggers.

Six thinigs that make me happy are:
1. My family: husband, son, sister.
2. Solitude.
3. Flowers.
4. Photography.
5. Gardening.
6. Walks.

I can think of way more than six photobloggers to pass this award on to. Having to limit myself to six is really difficult. Here are my choices:

1. Kathleen Connally of A Walk in Durham Township, PA who introduced me to photo blogging.
2. Ed Heaton of Ed Heaton Photography who taught me to photograph moving water and is always willing to answer my questions.
3. Lilly and Ronnie of Our Two Sense for their creativity and humor that always brings a smile to my face.
4. Mary Brooks-Brown of Mary Brooks-Brown Photography Blog for being my always supportive photo buddy.
5. John Maslowski of Sirius2 Photography for his gorgeous architectural and waterfal images.
6. Bob Trabho of A Closeup View for being the first site to inspire me to take macro photos.

*****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!*****

I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography.

If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know!

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Delightful -- and so well deserved. Your work is truly amazing, day after day. I don't comment every day because I just repeat myself, but I always look forward to a visit. You help me see in ways that I wouldn't on my own. Here, too, you have posted a magical image of great beauty. Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us.
