Autumn Leaf

Taken outdoors, partly backlit. Leaf was held by a second tripod and a plamp link Adjustments in PS7, crop.

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Pretty colours Anita! Reminds me of those colourblind tests lol! Never thought to see all 3 colours on the same leaf too lol Really well taken!

Again, there are so many ways (as other comments have noted) to enjoy your work: As abstract composition and mix of color; to contemplate the way chlorophyll shuts down in the leaf; like a satellite photo of a city or other landscape. I need to figure out why the holes "bug" me, what about me sees them as an imperfection.

Exquisite! Proof, every leaf tells a story, and yours is a magnificent story.
The details, colors, light, textures, the image itself has me at a loss for words.
