Dahlia ZoomPosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 16 October 2008 in Abstract & Conceptual. +++THANKS FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL COMMENTS ON MY LAST IMAGE!! I can't respond individually, so I hope this will let you know how much I appreciate them.+++ *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

John Maslowski from Dallas, PA, United StatesGorgeous Anita, just like a sun burst of colors. Beautiful yellows and reds, great work. 17 Oct 2008 1:29am Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesReally well done zoom blur. Very "trippy". It really sucks you into the shot. 17 Oct 2008 2:25am Marcie from United StatesIt feels like some sort of illusion. Love how the image draws you right in. 17 Oct 2008 12:03pm don from spokane, United StatesThe zooming effect is very well done. I like the sharp detail in the center with the special touches to the edge. Fine work. 17 Oct 2008 4:07pm Koushiro~光子郎 from Singapore, SingaporeNice shot and colours! So nice to finally come by and watch your shots lol ^^ 18 Oct 2008 4:41am Doug from Long Beach, United StatesThis quite literally makes me dizzy looking at it. Yowza. 19 Oct 2008 12:47am @Doug: Hope you were sitting down. Thanks for visiting my photoblog! David Ross from Bryn Mawr, PA, United StatesFirst reaction: Wow. Then I felt disappointed that my reaction was driven by a photoshop effect. Then (reflecting on the comments) I realized that it was the choices you made in using that effect that drove my reaction. Thanks for the stunning image and thanks for giving me a new perspective in thinking about the art of image processing 19 Oct 2008 12:57pm |
