Cosmos Garden

I am enjoying the Cosmos this summer!

*****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!*****

I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography.

If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know!

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Beautiful photo! The colors of the foreground and background work very well together, as do the crisp focus and the bokeh.

STUNNING I can just image a garden of Cosmos floating in the breeze.

This is a lovely image. The colours are so delicate, and complimentary. The detail (on the main flower) and dof is excellent.

Good photo. It's a small flower, a couple of inches across, isn't it?

@António Pires: Thanks, Antonio. The flowers are 3 - 4 inches across.

Cosmos is a relatively new flower to me. I had the opportunity to photograph the flower for the first time this summer. And it is such a delightful flower.

You have captured the personality of the cosmos beautifully -- it's gracefulness, it's wonderful color variations.

I love the DOF you used in this image.

I love cosmos as well - and you captured these wonderfully. I liked your sailboats yesterday - it is suprising to see a non-flower picture from your, but you did it wonderfully. DoF in this image is wonderful.....
