A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

@Sue: Thanks, Sue. I did not add texture. I did saturate the colors.

It's neat how saturating the colors bring out this marvelous texture. But, the shot wouldn't work without your composition. Easy for the observer to get absorbed but the every expanding layers here (I'd like to see this as a larger offering on a gallery wall).
