Balloon Flower (Platycodon grandiflorus)

I appreciate the many positive comments to yesterday's flower! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
From my garden; taken indoors using window light and yellow background; macro lens, tripod.

*****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!*****

I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography.

If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know!

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Normally, we see patches of yellow over blue, in this image is the opposite. It's a sort of a shock, a surprise.

You've created a spectacular image. I especially like the vivid colors and the way you've arranged these blossoms in your frame. Beautifully shot! I'll add this to my vfxy collection!

AWESOME punch!!!! how did you do it?!?!?!

@Betsy Barron: Thanks, Betsy! So glad you like it.
The flowers were in a small vase out of the frame to the right. Yellow construction paper was the background, held up by a foam board. All this was set up on a coffee table several feel away from large east facing windows. That is my indoor studio.
