Purple FlowerPosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 1 September 2008 in Plant & Nature. This is growing in an old neglected bed of mine, but I don't remember what the name of it is. If anyone knows, please tell me. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

The sharpness drives the quality of this photo. 3 Sep 2008 12:16pm Michaela from United StatesAnita, this looks like an anemone (or Japanese Windflower). I have seen them in white (and taken lots of pictures) but they also come in other colors. 3 Nov 2008 4:38pm |
