A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Nice shot! Although I think this isn't as nice as your other shots.... I like the way the water droplets were captured though...

Perfect. Very good management of depth-of-field (f/16) in order to have the rose within the field of focus.

@António Pires: Thanks. The dof is tricky--I want enough dof to have sharpness for the entire flower, but, not so deep that the backgroud becomes distracting. Not sure I achieved right balance in this one.
