A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

I love the composition on this, with the petals at top and bottom providing a nice direction for the image. And of course, the colors and details are wonderful. Another excellent shot, Anita....

WOW! I think they're more beautiful at this stage..then when they're fully bloomed. Love the black background. It really makes it pop!

what a winner! a gorgeous flower shot -- of course all your shots are just marvelous! but this one has an extra level of handsomeness... an excellent composition! i love all that blackness -- just pops the white right off the page! bravo!
