A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

I enjoy the illusion that the second bud could be a mirror image of the first; and that the tip of a back petal on the front bud could be a drop of water.

Nice soft colors. They're almost more exciting before they've bloomed.

@Marcie: These bloom into gorgeous pink flowers, which I haven't been able to adequately capture. The buds are easier to photograph.

Very nice detail and colors, Anita. I would like to see a slightly different angle to give more separation between the two closed flowers.
