Cilantro Leaves

Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 3 July 2008 in Plant & Nature.

I love using cilantro as a seasoning in beans, sandwiches, soups, etc. I acquired this taste growing up in Peru, where cilantro is used a lot. I can't seem to keep enough in my garden--it goes to seed too fast. Maybe I need to try succession plantings.

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Nice photo! I love cilantro in cooking too! But I'm more a fan of rosemary though... I love lamb chops! *Smacks lips* ^^

Wonderful shot - the green and black together are great. I love cilantro also - nothing like fresh salsa from the garden with cilantro....
