ClematisPosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 25 June 2008 in Plant & Nature. This Clematis grows up the side of my garage. Isn't it lovely? *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalThe yellow stems over the violet (purple?) leaves are a beautiful combination. The arrangement, or composition, and the lightness/contrast are superb. 25 Jun 2008 2:01pm Chrissy from United KingdomAbsolutely beautiful flower, must be lovely to look at it whilst it is in flower, good close up shot 25 Jun 2008 4:13pm @Marie.aminus3.com: Thank you so much for visiiting and commenting. Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesStunning, Anita ... the color combination is gorgeous and the deep DOF is just right to show off the beauty throughout the image. 25 Jun 2008 8:16pm Chris from South Jersey, United StatesThat color is amazing - so rich and deep. Wonderful details and composition as well..... 25 Jun 2008 8:26pm Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesPurely lovely detail and complimentary color... Beautiful. 26 Jun 2008 3:53am David from Bryn Mawr, United StatesGreat choices (magnification, composition, subject) that allow one to enjoy the clematis in a new way -- usually my eye is dominated by the petals and missing all the beauty and energy of the central cluster. Only after I lived with it for a bit, did I appreciate how you've captured the varying textures in the petals and stamen (?). 26 Jun 2008 9:48am Paul Michko from United StatesStunning up close perspective, Anita. This really pops 26 Jun 2008 10:14am |
