Showy HebePosted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 21 June 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. Taken at the Longwood Gardens Convervatory, Pennsylvania, USA, last week. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Like colors and excellent DOP 21 Jun 2008 3:01pm Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesBeautiful, Anita ... almost abstract in its composition with the repeating colors/textures/patterns ... very nice! 21 Jun 2008 11:12pm David from Birmingham, United KingdomGives the impression that the landscape of the flower stretches on forever. It nicely beckons us into another world. 22 Jun 2008 5:02am GJC from Kyoto, JapanSuperb. You've taken not just the flowers, but something more than that, you've seen the pattern and the color. Your flower shots are getting more and more interesting because you are moving beyond a straight-forward look at the flower into thinking about color in very interesting ways. 24 Jun 2008 9:01am @GJC: Thank you so much for reflecting on my photography in general. If I am growing and improving as a photographer, I'm happy. :-) |
