Lily Detail 2

Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 11 June 2008 in Plant & Nature.

I am thankful for the positive comments to yesterday's photo, and to all those who visited. This is another view of the same lily.

*****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!*****

I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography.

If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know!

A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

This one could be an illustration in a book on the biology of the flower.

Wonderful colors and textures - but on my monitor it looks a little fuzzy (and that is so odd for your pictures). I don't know if it is my computer or not.....

@Chris: Hmmm. It doesn't look fuzzy on my monitor. Others have mentioned problems with their photos being fuzzy. I'm glad you told me about this. I hope if others find theirs are fuzzy, they will let me know also. I think I will post a question on the forum to the am3 people. Thanks again.

Great details on the lily there! Although I think I gotta agree with Chris... It is a little fuzzy on my comp...

Is this fuzzy or just subdued? I more used to seeing you choose starker presentations for a shot like this (I'm thinking of the peony from a week ago)
