Clover 4Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 21 May 2008 in Plant & Nature. Last in a series of 4 photos of a clover with increasing depth of field. I will be away for several days, so will be unable to post comments. *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Arash from Dubai, United Arab EmiratesThis shot is better than previous one. nice colors with a great background, also I kile the angle you took it. 21 May 2008 9:01am Betty from New Jersey, United StatesThis one is my favorite, Anita! Pretty soft colors... wonderful DOF here. 21 May 2008 10:08am Koushiro~光子郎 from Singapore, SingaporeHmm... I guess I've gotta disagree with the previous comments... I preferred the third one... It was nice and soft... 21 May 2008 11:58am Chris from South Jersey, United StatesVery pretty, but this is my least favorite - I like the lower DoF of the others that makes the image stand out (in my mind). It is interesting that some of the comments above disagree with me on this! - I guess everyone has their own opinion!! 21 May 2008 3:22pm António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalThe trend didn't go on. I prefer the Clover 3. Both give the idea of a star exploding, but in the Clover 3 the flower fills a little bit less of the frame, the image being more balanced and the dof is at the point. 21 May 2008 4:10pm Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesI never before realized that clover was so intricate ... maybe because I've never seen a macro image of it! The whole series had a kaleidoscope-esque feel to it ... very cool! 21 May 2008 6:28pm Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomI've tried going back and choosing a winner from these but I like them all in equal measure! 21 May 2008 10:21pm Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesAnita, I like this one the best of the series because of the detail and the extra color. 21 May 2008 11:38pm |
