Daffodil 3Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 24 April 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. I love the center of this perky daffodil. +++THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!!!!+++ *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

@Mirco: Thank you sor visiting and commenting!! Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesWow ... red hot! That little red ruffle and the tight crop really rock this shot! Beautiful work, Anita! 24 Apr 2008 1:16pm GJC from Kyoto, JapanSuper crop here and the middle seems to actually be coming out of the photo in 3-D if you look at it for a little while. Amazing shot. 24 Apr 2008 1:44pm @GJC: The petals on this daffodil actually do go back a bit, with the red and yellow ruffle sticking out in front. Chris from South Jersey, United StatesGreat detail and composition - the DoF makes this very unique.... 24 Apr 2008 1:46pm Betty from New Jersey, United StatesExcellent composition, Anita. Great DOF! Nice shot. 24 Apr 2008 3:53pm Observing from Chester, United KingdomAnita thats amazing, like a little cluster in a basket. Image is great. 24 Apr 2008 8:54pm John Maslowski from Dallas, PA, United StatesLike the way you frame and compose your flower shots. Nice contrast here with the yellow and white. Great details in the center and love the soft focus. 25 Apr 2008 3:04am David from Bryn Mawr, United StatesThis one did double duty for me. My first look picked up the dynamic of all all the lines feeding the center; so I saw the center exploding toward me -- a flower supernova. My second look resonated with "Observing" from UK: I saw a handful of nuts in a paper serving basket -- the ideal springtime party favor. 25 Apr 2008 8:50am |
