Daffodil 2Posted by Anita (West Nottingham, United States) on 22 April 2008 in Plant & Nature. Not the best photo, but, I wanted to share this lovely daffodil, so different from the one posted yesterday. I'm enjoying a long season of daffodils as I planted early, middle and late blooming flowers. :-) +++THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG+++ *****THANK YOU FOR VISITING ANITA'S PHOTOBLOG!***** I welcome your honest critique, especially if they will improve my photography. If I have made a mistake in a flower identification, please let me know! A few words about the EXIF data, beginning in April when I began using Nikon D300 and the Sigma 105mm macro: My new camera and macro lens record the relative or effective f stop, not the one seen on the lens. For an explanation of this, go to the next to the last question at this site.

Betty from New Jersey, United StatesBeautiful daffodil, Anita. Never saw one like that! Thanks for sharing. 22 Apr 2008 10:12am @Betty: Thanks, Betty! I hadn't either until I ordered it and it came up this spring! What a fun surprise. Paul Michko from Exton, United StatesVery beautiful, Anita. Wonderful composition. 22 Apr 2008 10:15am Chris from South Jersey, United StatesWonderful texture on the flower that you have captured. I don't think the composition is as strong as you other images, but you have captured some wonderful details. 22 Apr 2008 6:24pm Observing from Chester, United KingdomLovely folded petals, and lot's of detail. 22 Apr 2008 8:02pm standley from brou-sur-chantereine, FranceBeautiful capture.I like the complexity of the petals! 22 Apr 2008 9:15pm David from Bryn Mawr, United StatesInteresting the way the base petals slope back. The whole made me think of the bustle on a fashionable 19th century dress (how did they sit down?). Wonder if the bees specially enjoy this one? Do flowers from bulbs need bees to multiply? Oops -- getting off topic here. I enjoy the way interesting photos get my brain going. 23 Apr 2008 4:57pm |
